CIF (Conditional Improvement Funding)

The CIF fund is an annual fund to give academies, MATs, and sixth form collages a chance to bid for money to address condition related issues across their estates:

• Building safety matters including RAAC and dangerous structures

• Asbestos management and removal works

• Roofing refurbishment and replacement

• Gas safety

• Electrical safety

• Fire Safety

• Water services, drainage, and distribution upgrades

• Security and safeguarding improvements

• Ventilation and air quality, and thermal comfort works

• Accessibility improvements

• Window and door replacements

• Block replacements

Urgent Capital Support (UCS)

Funding is available to academies, MATs, and sixth forms to address urgent works required to improve health and safety issues across the school to include:

• Health and Safety compliance issues

• Fire Safety and protection improvements

• Roof failures and repairs

• Boiler, Heating, and Water replacements

• Asbestos issues

School Condition Allocation (SCA)

A guaranteed fund provided to larger MATs with bi-annual funding rounds, allocated to address the condition of your school. Planning is key to best allocate the funding, so what can LACO. do for you:

• Development of a maintenance and development strategy tailored to your school based on current condition.

• Timescales and detailed programmes for urgent and future projects including costing.

• Project management from budget estimates through to handover.

T-Level Capital Funding (TLCF)

An alternative to apprenticeships, T-Levels are new technical study programmes that can be offered by some academies colleges, and sixth forms. We can help you secure the funding to provide the neccesary facilities.

• Assessment on current facilites to develop a concice feasibility plan to achieve funding

• Curriculum assessment and full report for ESFA approval

• A full project management service for your project following successful funding

Childcare Expansion Capital Grant

Funding available to Local Authorities to provide support in improving childcare facilities, this funding aligns with a promotion of a return to work for parents. Starting with an Expression of interest, we can help you develop your application:

• Development of a brief to coincide with your requirements in line with government guidance

• Full feasibility plan to include drawings, reports, and cost outlines and reviews

• A full project management service for your project following successful funding
